3. How we use information
- To respond to enquiries, schedule demos and provide quotations.
- To supply, install, support and maintain products and services, including annual maintenance contracts.
- To operate, secure and improve our software, cloud services and website.
- To send service notices and, where permitted, information about our products, with an option to unsubscribe.
- To meet legal, tax, accounting and security obligations.
4. Our role: customer data
For business data processed through our applications on behalf of our customers, the customer decides why and how the data is used, and ATPL acts as a service provider under a written agreement. Requests about that data should first go to the customer’s organization.
5. Perfect Edge MDM and the Accessibility service
The Perfect Edge MDM device app is installed on company-owned devices that are managed by the customer’s organization. The app uses Android’s Accessibility service only to carry out remote support actions started by the customer’s authorised administrator, to apply device policies such as airplane mode, and to detect the hardware push-to-talk key. The app does not collect or send passwords, personal messages or other screen content through the Accessibility service. Remote screen sharing requires approval on the device for each session. The Accessibility service can be turned off at any time in Android Settings > Accessibility.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions, performance and analytics, and to support features such as chat and embedded maps and videos. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

8. Data location and transfers
Our cloud services are hosted with third-party infrastructure providers, including in India. If data is transferred outside India, we use appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.
9. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described above, for the term of the customer’s agreement, or as required by law, which is generally as long as the customer’s agreement is in force and as required by law. After that we delete or anonymise it.
10. Security
We use measures such as encrypted connections, role-based access controls, authentication and activity logging. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
